Alabaster Eggs & Fruit are imported from the hill
town of Volterra in Tuscany, Italy where for centuries
craftsmen have worked the alabaster in the surrounding
area into lifelife fruit. The alabaster fruit is hand
crafted from a piece of white alabaster stone and then
hand painted to look so realistic. The alabaster fruit
is heavy enough to be used as a paperweight, but much
prettier grouped together for a centerpiece. Our
beautiful alabaster eggs are available in many
different colors and are also handcrafted in Volterra,
Italy, the home of Italian alabaster. Italian
alabaster eggs can be nicely arranged in a basket or
glass bowl on individually placed on egg stands on a
table or shelf.
